Many people seem to believe that when a tree becomes too big for it’s location, the only option is to fell the tree – but this is not true.

A tree can be reduced and shaped (given a haircut) to allow more light to be gained over the top of the canopy, whilst also reducing it’s width.

This technique also slows down the root growth, which is particularly important for trees close to buildings where there is a risk of damage to the foundations.
